[origin: EP0983741A2] The vacuum cleaner has a suction opening (9) with a flow connection to the fan unit and an additional suction hose (5) with one end (6) connected to the vacuum cleaner housing (1). The air suction can be optionally switched between the suction opening and the suction hose. The suction hose is removably stored for at least part of its length in a storage channel (4) on the vacuum cleaner housing.
