Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0983797A2] To apply a glue to the surface of a product, the glue is delivered as a thread to be laid in a spiral path on the surface. A spray head (40) is at one end of the applicator (45), with a housing (25) to take the insert (30) with the outlet opening (34) for the glue thread. A coaxial guide sleeve (35) holds the piston rod (43). A jet body (15) has a number of openings (20) in the peripheral direction, each with an air jet (10) with a converging-diverging inner zone in the flow direction.
