Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0984115A2] A method for securely fitting a blind to a hollow roller has the end seam of the blind loaded with a retaining rod and inserted into a narrow, open topped recess (4) in one side of the roller. The ends of the seam are each gripped by a shaped insert clamp which presses the seam up against the narrow slot. The clamp jaw has a grip profile and the clamp is pulled into the locking position by a screw (14) threaded into the outer end of the clamp and with a retaining head.
