Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0984530A1] The arrangement has a gripper unit with at least two rotatable grippers (11,13) that bring the cables together. The grippers bring the cables together using a rotary motion after acquiring the cables. Gripper modules (10,12) mounted on a carrier (4) have drives (14,15) for actuating the grippers and can be rotated by a further drive (16). An Independent claim is also included for a method of feeding conductors together for making crimp connections.
