Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9851891A1] A lock device is described. It comprises a first (2) and a second (3) lock element, concentric around a first symmetry axis, mutually turnable, at least partly in the form of a straight circular cylinder (6), embracing a second straight cylinder (10), at least two cooperating radial channels (18, 19) being provided, guiding two radially inwardly spring (21) loaded lock pins (24, 25), in a certain radial position releasing the mutual rotation of the lock elements (2, 3), and a key means (4). The key means (4) is designed like a straight pipe (28), provided with an opening (31) arranged and dimensioned to take up a first ball element (26) when the opening (31) stands just in front of the second channel (17). The opening (31) is provided, at one of its sides perpendicular to the symmetry axis (1), with a radially outwardly sloping recess (32) so that when the key means (4) led downwardly, is turned in one direction, the first ball element (26) grabs in the opening (31) so that the second lock element (3) can be turned by the key means (4) in relationship to the first lock element (2), as far as the lock pins (25, 26) admit this, the pipe (28) being locked axially by the fourth pin (23) and the first ball element (26).
