Abstract (en)
The ski boot has a shock-absorbing attachment (4) fitting onto at least one part of the toe cap (5). In a shell-type boot the attachment is formed from the shell (2). The attachment can have a hollow cavity filled at least in part with a padded material. Independent claim designs boot as ice hockey goalkeepers boot. A shock-absorbing body for fixing over the cap of a boot can be used on existing boots.

Bei einem Schlittschuh (1) ist im Kappenbereich (5) ein Aufsatz (4) vorgesehen, welcher den Fuss des Eishockeyspielers, insbesondere des Torhüters, gegen von der Eishockeyscheibe hervorgerufene Schläge schützt. Dieser Aufsatz verhindert ferner ein seitliches Abrutschen eines Schienbeinschoners. <IMAGE>
