Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0985527A2] A sheet guide system transfers the sheet to a printing cylinder at the speed of the latter. The sheet guide device (9) has a sheet guide plate and extends directly up to the printing cylinder at a distance and arched to the sheet guide system (2). The sheet guide plate has blower nozzles which produce a blast of air which follows the path of the sheet guide plate and is directed away from the printing cylinder. The sheet guide plate can be formed as the top side of an air box connected to a blow air source.
