[origin: EP0985612A1] A dumper truck has a chassis on which the tipping mechanism raises and empties the hinged container. The chassis bears a fixed transverse U-shaped panel (12) onto which the container is lowered at the end of each cycle. The U-shaped panel also has a rubber base (14) and metal sidewalls (16, 18) which hold the lowered container.
