[origin: EP0985765A1] The mounting (24) for the rail (16) of a permanent way holds it in place together with a mounting plate (18) in a release fitting, acting on the leg of the rail foot (28) as a sliding shoe or a steering footplate. The mounting plate (18) is held in place by a retainer (26) under the rail foot (28), extending to the other leg (48) of the rail foot (28), and locked (44) in position. The retainer has a tilting movement, with an additional mounting at the rail mounting plate.
