Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19723119C1] The invention relates to a method for producing an elongated, single-piece structural part for spectacles. The inventive part has a first section (3) with a first geometrical shape and a second section (5) with a second geometrical shape. According to the invention, the part is produced by means of powder injection moulding (PIM, MIM). The first section already has its final shape, whilst the second section is configured as a cylindrical section which is then deformed to produce the final shape.
