[origin: WO9855373A2] A safety locking cap (10) for a container, the cap comprising: a threaded portion (16) for engagement with a corresponding thread on the container; a locking portion (24) for locking the cap (10) to the container when in contact therewith; the cap defining a discontinuity (20) between the threaded portion (16) and the locking portion (24) which permits the locking portion (24) to flex relative to the threaded portion (16) thereby to separate the locking portion from the container and to permit removal of the cap.
