[origin: EP0987198A2] The tank container has a cylindrical tank (16), the endface walls of which are connected by an endface ring (17) and a saddle device to an endface frame with an upper transverse beam (13), a lower transverse beam (12) and corner supports. The saddle device has two shaped elements, each connected at one end to the upper transverse beam, following the endface ring, to which it is connected, in the middle sector for a certain angle; and at the other end to the lower transverse beam.
