A process for the selective hydrogenation of reaction mixtures arising from the hydroformylation of 5-24C olefins by means of hydrogen using a solid catalyst at elevated temperature and pressure is claimed. A supported catalyst containing copper, nickel and chromium is used.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur selektiven Hydrierung von Reaktionsgemischen aus der Hydroformylierung von C5- bis C24-Olefinen mittels Wasserstoff an festen Katalysatoren bei erhöhter Temperatur und unter erhöhtem Druck, bei dem man einen Trägerkatalysator verwendet, der als aktive Komponenten Kupfer. Nickel und Chrom enthält.
