Abstract (en)
The plug consists of a one-piece molded cylinder of PVC (1) with a male threaded tip on one end to engage with a female threaded outlet (8) in a coupling (9) on the pipe (10) end. The outer end of the plug projects through the surface of the wall in which the pipe is embedded and any surface covering (P) such as plaster or tiles. A hexagonal projection (7) on the outer end of the plug allows it to be unscrewed for fitting an appliance to the embedded pipe connector.
