Abstract (en)
The fluorescent lamp has a straight or circular glass discharge tube (2) with circular cross-section, and with an external diameter of less than or equal to 26 mm. The electrodes (3,4) are molded into each respective end, with one at a slightly greater distance from the tube end than the other to enable a cold spot to form. There is a fluorescent coating on the inner wall and a mercury-rare gas filling. The sockets (9,10) on each end of the tube have at least one socket pin (13,14) and a sleeve (11,12) each. A high thermal conductivity material is applied to the outside of the tube at least in the region of the electrode farther from the tube end

Bei der Erfindung handelt es sich um einen Leuchtstofflampe 1 für die Außenanwendung mit einem Entladungsrohr 2 von kleiner gleich 26 mm Außendurchmesser. Ausgehend von einer Leuchtstofflampe für die Innenanwendung mit einem Entladungsrohr 2 von kleiner gleich 26 mm kann durch Aufbringung eines wärmeleitenden Materials im Bereich einer oder beider Elektroden 3, 4 außen auf dem Entladungsrohr 2 in Form einer Beschichtung oder Folie 15, 16 ein optimaler Betrieb der Leuchtstofflampe 1 bei der Außenanwendung erzielt werden. <IMAGE>
