[origin: WO9856340A1] The present invention relates to a perfumed powder, odor and optionally moisture absorbing composition, which is safe for use on skin comprising from about 0.1 % to about 25 %, by weight of the composition, of uncomplexed cyclodextrin; from about 5 % to about 60 %, by weight of the composition, of a highly effective moisture absorber; a perfume composition selected from the group consisting of from about 0.05 % to about 15 %, by weight of the odor absorbing composition, of an encapsulated perfume, and from about 0.01 % to about 5 % by weight of the odor absorbing composition of a free perfume, and mixtures thereof, and a powder carrier. The compositions of the present invention may also contain an additional odor controlling agent selected from the group consisting of zeolite, activated charcoal, sodium bicarbonate, antimicrobial agents, and antiperspirants.
