[origin: DE19724771C1] The modular bridge comprises at least two short bridge- sections(BK), each having an inner section, two upwards pivoting ramp sections, a bottom boom rigidly connected to the inner and ramp sections, and bottom booms(UB) which are movable in relation to the rigidly fixed booms in the direction of the bridge span width. The rigidly fixed bottom booms have a U-shaped cross-section for location of the movable booms.
