[origin: FR2764731A1] The invention concerns an X-ray tube comprising an electron source with microtips and magnetic guiding means. Said X-ray tube comprises at least an electron source (4) with at least one microtip (6) and an extraction grid (16), whereof one zone emits electrons, at least one anode (10) whereof a zone emits X-rays under the impact of said electrons, and magnetic means (12) guiding the electrons, for generating a homogeneous magnetic field at least in the volume delimited between the zones. The invention is applicable the analysis by absorption of X-rays or by X-fluorescence.
