[origin: WO9858427A1] The invention relates to a zero insertion force connector for circuit boards having an actuating member (8) by actuation of which the zero insertion force connector for circuit boards (1; 11-14) can be moved from an assembly position permitting the insertion or removal of a circuit board (3) into a connecting position which correctly contacts said circuit board, and/or vice versa. Said zero insertion force connector for circuit boards is characterized in that the actuating member is integrated into a circuit-board guiding device (5) by means of which the circuit board to be connected with or already connected to the zero insertion force connector can be moved towards or away from same.
