Abstract (en)
A knife (1) for cutting profiles (6) is clamped in a frame (2-5) with a force NOTLESS 4% of the tensile stress limit of the knife steel. The frame is guided at the sides and during cutting movement runs parallel with the knife.

Kunststoffprofile (16), insbesondere Fenster- und Bauhauptprofile, können mit einem Messer (1) spanlos getrennt werden. Um einen einwandfreien Schnitt zu erreichen, ist es notwendig, daß diese Messer (1) seitwärts geführt werden. Dabei führen die Kräfte zum Trennen an der Schneide häufig dazu, daß das Messer ausgelenkt wird und der Schnitt dementsprechend ungerade verläuft. Dieses Problem wird dadurch gelöst, daß mit einem neuartigen Spannrahmen, mit dem die eigentliche Klinge (1) vorgespannt und der Spannrahmen seitlich geführt wird, getrennt wird. <IMAGE>
