Abstract (en)
The embossing machine incorporates at least one wheel (7) rotarily mounted on a pivot axle (8), connected to a drive mechanism, and fitted with hob-milling segments (11). At least one abutment element (14) has at least one hob-milling segment and has an active length just large enough to extend the hob-milling segment of the wheel to a complete periphery of the round object (1). A positioning piece (26) holds the round objects and is positioned between the wheel and the abutment element.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Randprägen von Ronden, insbesondere Münzen, weist ein Formrad auf, das mit Abwälzformsegmenten (11) versehen ist. Dem Formrad (7) sind Widerlagerelemente (16, 17) zugeordnet, die ebenfalls an Formrädern (14, 15) gelagert sein können. Eine Positioniereinrichtung (26) führt die Ronden (1) auf die gleichsinnige synchrone Drehung der Formräder (7, 14, 15) abgestimmt zwischen die Formräder und nach erfolgter Randprägung aus den Radzwischenräumen heraus. <IMAGE>
