Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0989056A2] The keel fitting consists of two hydrodynamic keels one behind the other along the bottom of the hull. The keels (2, 3) can turn freely and independently of each other in either direction about an axis (4) under the center of the hull (1). They are driven by units inside them, so that keel settings differing in the vertical setting and/or in the extent of turn outwards in one or both directions can be made for the forward keel (2) and the rear keel (3) to improve the self-righting properties.
