Abstract (en)
A container (1) for transporting and containing tanks and the like comprises a supporting pallet (2) and, fixed to this, a lateral containment cage (3) comprising a lower flange (11). Clamps (18) connected to the pallet (2) extend along the full length of its side and are engaged with the flange (11) of the cage (3) to secure the cage (3) firmly to the supporting pallet (2). The result is a container in which the supporting pallet and the lateral containment cage are firmly connected together as if they were a single item. <IMAGE>
