Für die Gestaltung einer Vordachkonstruktion (1) zur Überdachung einer Fläche (2), die sich an einer Fassade oder Seitenwand eines Gebäudes (50) anschließt, wird eine Konstruktion vorgesehen, die den Vorteil hat, daß das von der Dachfläche (10) des Vordaches ablaufende Wasser so abgeführt wird, daß technisch bedingte gestalterische Einschränkungen vermieden werden. Dazu wird die Dachfläche (10), die sich von der Fassade oder Seitenwand (5,61) weg über eine zu überdachende Fläche (2) erstreckt, im Bereich der Fassade oder Seitenwand (5,61) tragend unterstützt und im Bereich des Endes der Dachfläche (10) mit Säulen (4) gehalten. Das von der Dachfläche (10) ablaufende Wasser wird von einer von der Säule (4) oder der Dachfläche (10) getragenen Sammeleinrichtung (3) aufgenommen und über eine vertikale Leitung, die der Säule (4) zugeordnet ist, abgeleitet. <IMAGE>
