Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0989277A2] The metal profiles(3,4), at least in parts of at least one face side of the door area joined to one another by folding, whereby two adjacent side edges of the metal profiles are bent away in the direction of the hollow space(5) and one side engages around the adjacent side edge. The connection of the metal profiles is inside the hollow space and in the direction of the side edge of the door. The connection of the profiles is achieved by forming a closed channel(6), whereby the metal profile side edges forming the channel overlap each other, at least along a part of the periphery of the channel.
