[origin: DE19843168C1] The pumping installation has a main pump (1) which is disconnected by a pressure switch (9) and a side channel pump (2), with the feed line (3) split into a main line (3.1) leading to the main pump and a side channel (3.2) leading to the side channel pump. The side channel is coupled to the main line on the suction side of the main pump, with a flow monitor (5) on the suction side of the side channel pump, for switching in the main pump and disconnecting the side channel pump.

Es wird eine Pumpenanlage und ein Verfahren zur automatischen Entleerung Flüssigkeiten transportierender Behälter vorgeschlagen. Dabei wird eine Förderleitung (3) streckenweise aufgeteilt in eine mit einer Hauptpumpe (1) versehene Hauptleitung (3.1) und einen mit einer Hilfspumpe (2) versehenen Seitenkanal (3.2). Über die Hilfspumpe (2) wird das Leitungssystem druckseitig der beiden Pumpen entlüftet. Die Hauptpumpe (1) wird durch einen Strömungswächter (5) automatisch eingeschaltet und nach Entleerung eines ersten Transportbehälters mittels eines Druckschalter abgeschaltet. Die Restentleerung der übrigen Transportbehälter erfolgt durch die Hilfspumpe (2), die nach Entleerung des letzten Transportbehälters über den Strömungswächter (5) automatisch abgeschaltet. <IMAGE>
