The present invention provides a packaging system comprising a sheet of flexible material, the sheet of flexible material comprising a plait, the plait being held flat against a part of the sheet which is thereby covered by the plait, the sheet of flexible material comprising a micro-hole, characterised in that the micro-hole is located in the covered part of the sheet.
