The chain of food packets comprises several bags made of water permeable material and connected together and each filled with dried food to allow the bags to be boiled, steamed or soaked in a water bath to cook the food. Water-permeable foil is used for the bags. The bags are formed as a tube and demarcated from each other by cross sealed seams.
