[origin: EP0990838A2] The lamp unit has a reflector, a light source and a light cover (4) with a matrix of light dispersion elements (5) with a side row or column extending parallel to an angled opening edge (6) of the automobile body. The light cover light dispersion elements have a curvature which deflects the light in a vertical direction , the reflector having curved reflector elements for deflecting the light in a horizontal direction.
