[origin: WO9858716A1] The invention concerns a mechanical connection piece (1), for example for integrating structural blocks (60, 60') comprising openings (61, 80), consisting of two mobile elements (2, 2a) partially pivoting relative to each other, each element (2, 2a) including at least two catching or retaining means (3, 3'; 3a, 3a') moving apart when said openings pivot. The catching or retaining means are wings extending in different parallel planes, from and on either side of a central part linking the wings over part of their breadth and depth. Thus the assembled central parts together form two extended axis parts, each part (4, 4a) comprising a horizontal sliding surface (20) against each other and two side sliding surfaces (18) vertically in contact with an edge (13a) of the matching element the wing (3a, 3a') base.
