[origin: FR2777883A1] Consolidating and/or passivating an internal zone of a porous mineral structure containing an alkaline-earth metal carbonate by chemical process consists of injecting a fluoride ion source with a pH not less than 8 into the volume of the zone of the structure to transform part of the alkaline-earth metal carbonate into alkaline-earth metal fluoride, especially calcium present in the structure zone.
