Abstract (en)
The device has pairs of relatively adjustable rotating driven upper and lower knives. The upper knives (3) slide along a common cross bar (8) and are moved into rest position by moving the cross bar. The bar is located sliding on a carriage (12). The carriage moves in direction of movement of the material length (2) in tracks (9), which may be offset at right angles to the material movement direction. The lower knives (4) are carried on a shaft, which has a drive bearing and an axially removable support bearing at the other end.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Längsschneider für zu unterteilende mehrnutzige Materialbahnen mit auf einer gemeinsamen angetriebenen Untermesserwelle angeordneten Untermessern und relativ dazu anstellbaren Obermessern. Es ist das Ziel, die Zugänglichkeit der Untermesserwelle bei einem Formatwechsel zu verbessern. Erreicht wird dies durch Mittel zum Anheben (18) und Zurückfahren von die Obermesser (3) aufnehmenden Träger-, Schlitten- und Führungselementen (8; 12; 9) aus dem Arbeitsbereich. <IMAGE>
