Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0992442A2] Cards are arranged in a feeder (4) and held back by a retaining device (14). The cards are transported by a transporting device (12) from a stock position to a delivery position. A controller (1) causes the retaining device and transporting device to swivel, the movements of each being at least partially coupled together. The controller includes a lever mechanism (21) which partially couples and partially decouples the swivel movements of the retaining device and the transporting device.
