Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0992449A1] Lift shaft information is produced from a shaft information detector (4) arranged on the lift cables (9), and from a sensor unit arranged in the lift cage (1). At least one carrier is displaceably arranged on the cables for carrying the shaft information detector. The carrier may have a strut with guide slots and/or clamping slots for receiving the cable. The shaft information detector is a magnet which produces information by changing the switching state of a magnetic switch of the sensor unit.
