[origin: EP0992755A2] Insulated combustion chamber walls are made of a honeycomb structure, shown typically as horizontal strips (4) linked by vertical bars (6) formed into cells by vertical strips (8), covered by a 1-2 mm thick metal skin. This skin is made of steel impervious to the combustion products. It is welded to the strips (4, 8).
