Abstract (en)
A material made of a metallic base material and a metallic second phase with a partially martensitic structure is used for a component of a sound-producing and/or emitting machine. The material consists of 48-52 at.% Ni or Ti, preferably 49.9 at.% Ni and 50.1 at.% Ti. The base material is a light metal and/or light metal alloy.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines Werkstoffes mit hoher Materialdämpfung und Zugfestigkeit, wobei der Werkstoff ein metallisches Basismaterial sowie eine metallische Zweitphase mit zumindest teilweisem martensitischen Gefüge aufweist und/oder wobei der Werkstoff eine Legierung ist, deren Legierungselemente eine sehr geringe Löslichkeit im Grundwerkstoff aufweist, für ein Bauteil einer schallerzeugenden bzw. -emittierenden Maschine.
