[origin: DE19815815A1] The aim of the invention is to provide a method for allocating movable objects to the owners thereof without third parties being able to learn of the name or address of the owners. In order to achieve this, the invention provides a method of anonymous allocation of movable objects to the owners thereof, whereby a person is given a code, personal information and said code are stored in a centralised manner and a moveable object is provided with an information carrier containing the code and instructions so that the persons authorized to access this stored information can be reached.
