A screw-type terminal is provided, said screw-type terminal consisting of a bushing (1) into which a screw (2) can be screwed. Said screw (2) is provided with a pressure clamp (3) consisting of an elastic material. A piercing rib (6) is situated on the opposite floor of the bushing (1). The connecting device may also be configured in such a way that a point is provided instead of a piercing rib with a sharp piercing edge. Said piercing edge (6) or point is preferably an integral part of an inserting part (5) which is introduced securely into the bushing (1) or sleeve. Two points can form a piercing prong in the shape of a mitre.
