Several (e.g. two) double-layer film webs (4,6) with a width half that of the single-layer web are unwound from rolls (3,5) and unfolded to full width. The single-layer webs are laid on top of each other, then folded into a U, and then plastic bags are made from the folded webs using known plastic bag manufacturing techniques.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von mehrwandigen, vorzugsweise doppelwandigen Kunststoffbeuteln, insbesondere Zugbandbeuteln, aus thermoplastischen Kunststoffolienbahnen (4,6), die zum Zwecke einer einfachen Handhabung bei vergleichsweise hohen Produktionsgeschwindigkeiten zunächst im Vergleich zu einer einlagigen Bahnbreite jeweils von einer Abwickelrolle (3,5) doppellagig, mit im wesentlichen halber Bahnbreite abgewickelt und danach einlagig zu voller Bahnbreite aufgefaltet werden, worauf die flachgelegten Folienbahnen nach Art eines U umgefaltet und aus diesen schließlich in an sich bekannter Weise in einem Beutelherstellautomaten die Kunststoffbeutel bzw. Zugbandbeutel hergestellt werden. <IMAGE>
