Abstract (en)
A central heating radiator has the inlet and outlet connections (14a,14b) at the bottom and is connected to the supply and return feeds (26,28) of the central heating system by two flexible hoses. The hoses are looped to position part of each loop higher than the inlet/outlet to the radiator. This prevents residual water leaking out of the radiator when it is removed for maintenance. The plastic hoses are connected to the radiator, and to the system, by compression fittings.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Heizkörper 10 für zentrale Heizungsanlagen, mit einem heizkörperseitigen Vorlaufanschluß 14b und einem heizkörperseitigen Rücklaufanschluß 14a sowie mit einem heizungsanlagenseitigen Vorlaufanschluß 26 und einem heizungsanlagenseitigen Rücklaufanschluß 28, wobei sich erfindungsgemäß zwischen dem Heizkörpervorlaufanschluß 14b und dem Heizungsanlagenvorlaufanschluß 26 ein Verbindungsabschnitt 12a erstreckt, der wenigstens bereichsweise ein flexibler Schlauch bzw. Rohr ist, bzw. zwischen dem Heizkörperrücklaufanschluß 14a und dem Heizungsanlagenrücklaufanschluß 28 erstreckt sich ein Verbindungsabschnitt 12b, der wenigstens bereichsweise ein flexibler Schlauch bzw. Rohr ist, wobei der bzw. die Verbindungsabschnitte 12a, 12b einen bzw. jeweils einen Leitungsteil 36a, 36b aufweisen, der höher liegt als der Heizkörpervor- bzw. -rücklaufanschluß 14a, 16a, 14b, 16b. <IMAGE>
