Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0994448A2] The method involves performing the selection automatically and depending on a time-dependent motion profile for the vehicle. The selection can be performed depending on the speed of the vehicle (1) and additionally depending on direction changes. Information can be selected from a circular area of defined radius (R1) when the vehicle is started up. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for selecting traffic information in motor vehicles.
