Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0994526A2] The clamp socket has 2 spring-loaded clamp elements (1,1') displaced against the spring force to bring an opening (2,2') of the clamp element into alignment with an opening in a stationary contact element (4,4'), each clamp element having a second opening cooperating with a retaining nose for direct coupling between the clamp socket and a corresponding plug. An Independent claim for a plug for connection to a loudspeaker cable clamp socket is also included.
