[origin: DE19729196A1] The invention relates to a mixing whisk (1) for a mixing device, comprising two mixing rods (2) arranged at a distance to each other and essentially parallel to its axis of rotation (A) and a feed spiral positioned on said rods. Said whisk is connected with one end to a drive motor (6) and with its other end to a feed pump (9). The feed spiral (3) is positioned in the area of a feed hopper (10) which narrows towards the feed pump (9) and a mixing zone is provided for under said feed hopper. The invention aims to provide a mixing whisk (1) which considerably accelerates the mixing process and allows for it to be carried out largely without disruption. To this end the mixing rods (2) extend through the feed spiral (3) as far as the drive motor (6), the feed spiral (3) is connected to one of the mixing rods (2) with that end which faces the feed pump (9) and, at a distance from the point of connection, is supported by a cross bar (13) joined to both mixing rods (2). Said cross bar is arranged in a radial direction towards the outside and inclined at an angle alpha . On the feed pump side the feed spiral (3) and the cross bar (13) each have a support surface (14, 15) and are arranged at an angle beta in the direction of rotation.
