[origin: FR2778707A1] The clutch has an operating mechanism supported on the clutch cover, and includes automatic adjustment. The motor vehicle friction clutch with the clutch and de-clutch mechanism is supported by a cover (15) which is integral with a flywheel (11) which is driven in rotation. The mechanism acts upon a pressure plate (14) and a clamping friction disc (12) with friction linings (13) between the pressure plate and the flywheel form a reaction plate. A hydraulic actuator (40) is provided to control the movement of the linkage, with an electric motor included to assist operation of the actuator. A wear take-up device is mounted inside the clutch element with a control determining the adjustment provided by the wear take-up device.
