[origin: WO9902980A1] The invention relates to a system for determining relative air humidity and temperature, using a capacitive air humidity sensor and an associated sensor-evaluation electronics unit. According to the invention, said capacitive air humidity sensor has a dielectric in the form of a polymer layer, and two electrically conductive electrodes. One of said electrically conductive electrodes is configured as a stratiform heat resistor with at least two supply terminals, for temporarily heating the capacitive air humidity sensor.
