Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2777700A1] Two low noise blocks are provided as part of a satellite dish assembly, so that signals can be received from either of two geostationary satellites. The system includes two converter devices (5,6) for the reception of signals provided by a satellite. These are placed in front of a reflector dish (1) and are capable of adopting the correct positions for signal reception, with the signals being received from satellites at a given elevation. The converters may be selectively located in the optimum position w.r.t. the reflector by rotation of the support (12) on which they are mounted. The output parts (10) of the two converter devices are formed from a single integral component. The inputs are separated but may be used selectively by rotation of the component about an axis parallel to the two input parts.
