[origin: FR2765440A1] The invention concerns a portable imaging device whereof the focusing enables the observation of a vehicle part, in an overall view as well as in detail, and the lighting is diffuse, homogeneous and variable in order not to saturate the camera. It also concerns a system for forming images of the displayed vehicle part and audio data based on the mechanic's voice, then for bi-directional transmission of these two types of video and audio data by radio relay channel to the mechanic's local computer, located in his garage. Said local computer then sends these data by STN or ISDN telephone network, or by satellite telebroadcasting, to the computer located on the motor vehicle manufacturer's technical centre for example who, in turn, transmits data of similar type to the first operator.
