The geared drive mechanism (1), for insertion into an opening in the hollow profile of a window or door frame, has a swing spacer (20,20') with the threaded drilling (28) for the mounting screw (61). The thickness of the spacer (20,20') is equal to or smaller than the thickness of the section of the mechanism (1) gripping within the hollow profile, or the width of the head (3) of the housing (2).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Einsteck-Getriebe für das Einsetzen in eine Ausnehmung eines Hohlprofils eines Rahmens eines Fensters, einer Tür oder dergleichen, mit einem Gehäuse, dem mindestens ein Gewindebohrung für eine am Hohlprofil direkt oder indirekt angreifende Befestigungsschraube zugeordnet ist, das sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß am Einsteck-Getriebe (1) mindestens ein schwenkbar gelagertes Distanzstück (20,20') angeordnet ist, das die Gewindebohrung (28) für die Befestigungsschraube (61) aufweist, wobei die Dicke (D) des Distanzstücks (2C,20') kleiner oder ebenso groß ist wie die Dicke (D1) des in das Hohlprofil (46) eingreifenden Bereichs (13) des Einsteck-Getriebes (1). <IMAGE>
