Abstract (en)
The baking oven has a high temp. self-cleaning system, with a heater (9) under the top cover of the cooking zone and a further heater (11) at the bottom wall of the oven. During the self-cleaning action, to burn off any clinging residue in the oven, the power of the lower heater (11) is significantly higher than the upper heater (9). The bottom wall (15) of the oven cooking zone is a separate component, at the bottom of the oven liner and over the second heater (11).

Bekannt ist ein Backofen mit Mitteln zur pyrolytischen Selbstreinigung mit einem durch eine Tür verschließbaren und durch eine Backofenmuffel (3) begrenzten Garraum, mit einem unterhalb der Deckwand der Muffel (3) im Garraum angeordneten ersten Heizelement (9) und einem der Bodenwand zugeordneten zweiten Heizelement (11), dessen Heizleistung beim Pyrolysebetrieb wesentlich größer ist als die des ersten Heizelementes. Um die Reinigbarkeit des Backofens zu verbessern, ist die Bodenwand (15) als separates Teil ausgebildet sowie im Bodenbereich der Backofenmuffel (3) oberhalb des zweiten Heizelementes (11) gehaltert und deckt dieses ab. <IMAGE>
