Abstract (en)
The mold block (1) is rectangular and has a row of blind bores (2) in one side to accommodate the casings (5) of the pencils. The bores have a cylindrical portion near the surface of the block which slopes slightly downwards from the horizontal, and there is a shoulder (3) followed by a tapered portion (7). Narrow pressure relief bores (10) extend from the ends of the blind bores to the top surface. They lie at approximately 90 degrees to the blind bores. Pencil casings are inserted in the bores and hot liquid material is poured in and allowed to harden, and the completed pencil is then removed.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Minen für Kosmetikstifte oder dergleichen, wobei die Mine in eine Hülse eingegossen wird, die in eine Form eingelegt ist, und wobei die flüssige Gießmasse in der Hülle bzw. in der Form erstarrt, ist vorgesehen, daß die Hülse in der Halteeinrichtung in einem spitzen Winkel zur Horizontalen wenigstens mit ihrem unteren Ende derart gelagert ist, daß sie vom freien, gegenüberliegenden Ende her befüllbar ist, wobei sich an die Stirnfläche des unteren Endes der Hülse ein Verschlußbereich anschließt, und wobei die beim Gießen verdrängte Luft durch eine Entlüftungsbohrung austritt, welche sich im Bereich der Oberseite der unteren Stirnfläche der Hülse nach außen wegerstreckt. <IMAGE>
